Description:    Perryville, Maryland and Havre de Grace, Maryland (population, 12,952) are on opposite sides of the
mouth of the Susquehanna River at the Northern tip of Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. They are joined by a double
tracked truss railroad bridge, about ½ of a mile long.  Amtrak trains along their busy Northeast Corridor use this
bridge (about 70-80 trains per day) as well as NS trains (NS trains, about 12 per day, mostly in the late evening
and at night.) Marc has 4 departures in the morning and 4 arrivals in the evening at the Perryville Marc station,
(GPS coordinates above) Also the CSX has a bridge across the river about ½ mile upriver, that sees about 24 trains a
day.  Parking is available at the Perryville station but frequently filled with commuter’s cars.  In Havre de Grace there
are several good “bridge view” vantage points.  There is a toll for crossing the Susquehanna River Eastbound (?) by car.
