Description: Chatsworth is a neighborhood in the northwestern San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. It has
traditionally been a favorite train watching spot in the region, situated on the former SP “Coast Line” between Los
Angeles and San Francisco. The Line is now owned by Metrolink with faily heavy commuter traffic, frequent Amtrak
“Pacific Surfliners” and several UP Local movements. All total, close to 50 trains move through Chatsworh in 24
hours on weekdays.
